As a music fan, there is something that is really bothering the piss out of me and that is performers lip syncing in a live concert environment. I understand, that maybe, just maybe, it is needed when the lead singer has a cold. You know, when they really can’t sing, but they don’t want to cancel the show. So maybe they use a little backing vocal to help them out… but when the entire show is a complete fabrication… this is criminal.
The most guilty genre of this thievery, of course, is pop music and one of it’s biggest stars is guilty of this on a regular basis. Britney Spears. Oops she did it again, and again, and again, and finally some backlash occurred. On her current tour to support whatever catchy trash she is selling currently, a large chunk of an Australian crowd walked out on the show because it was so fake. Her tour management and promoters are claiming the incident is overblown, but three songs into her set, a good portion of the crowd headed for the exits.
Which once again proves my point- with the exception of their racism, Australians are awesome people.
It’s about time these pop kings and queens get their well deserved boo’s. I’ve been complaining about this for years, and finally the hard working people of Australia have answered my call. When you are being charged $150 dollars to see someone perform a song or two, you should not be involved in a fabrication. I am sick and tired of talentless people just getting by on their looks. These people have no real idea of talent other than being some wacko that loves going to Starbucks. Thank you Australia for beginning what I hope is a new trend in live music. I actually would spend the $150 bucks to watch Britney getting booed.
Probably would be the only real voices used in the concert anyway.
Soooooooo much better than the original…
