MMMMMMMM Chicken
KFC has learned how to utilize social media very well with their new KFC Double Down Sandwich. Now, this same word of mouth that had everyone talking about it could very well be their demise too. As you can see from the advertisement located to the left, the sandwich looks quite delightful and how could you resist its components:
The new KFC Double Down sandwich is real! This one-of-a-kind sandwich features two thick and juicy boneless white meat chicken filets (Original Recipe® or Grilled), two pieces of bacon, two melted slices of Monterey Jack and pepper jack cheese and Colonel’s Sauce. This product is so meaty, there’s no room for a bun!
While we can all agree this does not sound healthy at all, the picture of it makes it look amazing and I was stoked about getting one. Not so much anymore. They should just go ahead and rename this meal … “I would like to order the big box of disappointment.”
Because that’s precisely what it was… disappointment. I’m not one to think food should look just like it did in the advertisement but to be this far off is just an outrage. I mean, let’s look at what it actually came out looking like: See after the jump
What the Double Down really looks like!
Who were they targeting? Helen Keller? I mean Jesus… this looks nothing like what they sold me in their advertisements. It didn’t taste bad but on top of the poor display, one of the pieces of bacon was undercooked, as you can tell from the piece sticking out in the front. And before you say, “Mayonnaise, why is there mayonnaise?”… there was no mayonnaise. That’s either melted cheese or that Colonel’s sauce listed above.
Having said that, the four that I ate were actually delicious.
KFC if you read this, I would like 100 free coupons for the Double Down Sandwich so we can give them out to people and they can make their own decision!

i am a cook at kfc&aw and i dont know where or which kfc that pic of that double down came from but they need to learn how to prepare food the right way that double down looks so shitty
