"Bang, Bang Bitches!!" Giving a whole new meaning to the term "FIRED."

Well, some idiot on the Washington Wizards decided to take the term “open shot” to a whole new meaning. The point guard for the mediocre basketball club kept handguns in his locker and during a dispute/joke with another teammate, decided to pull the guns out of his locker for the entire locker room to witness.

The NBA decided not to take any action against Gilbert Arenes, the player in question, until the police department had conducted their investigation. Well, the next week, during warm-ups, Arenes was seen mockingly shooting his teammates with the old thumb/index finger handgun. The league completely disgusted with his actions, took action, and suspended the player indefinitely.

First off, why do we need guns in the locker room? Protection? From what, Ze Germans? (Come on Snatch fans, I know a few of you got that one!)  Supposedly, the other teammate he was playing the “gun game” with owed Arenes a few dollars on a gambling debt.

I also loved the fact that it was more than one gun. I, for one, understand the need to have pistols on you in the DC metro area, an area I would never walk alone at night in, but why are you wanting to shoot your teammates during warm-ups?

Just stupid I tell ya, just stupid.
